Meet Lauren
Lauren Couch is the founder of Salt + Stage Co., a children's dance and movement company serving families and schools across Alabama's Gulf Coast. A former competitive dancer, Pepperdine Dance Team alum, and mom of two, Lauren believes dance is about so much more than learning steps—it's about building confidence, creativity, resilience, and joy.
After years in corporate leadership, Lauren followed her lifelong passion for dance and child development to create a program that makes high-quality movement education accessible to every child.
Lauren's philosophy is simple: every child deserves a place to move freely, grow confidently, and discover the joy of being exactly who they are. Through every class, she hopes to inspire a lifelong love of movement while helping children develop the confidence to shine both on and off the dance floor.
When she's not teaching, you'll find Lauren enjoying life in Orange Beach with her husband and two children, soaking up everything the Gulf Coast has to offer.
